This is a cute and cozy coffee shop! The staff are very friendly, particularly Ariel. She answered all of our many questions with kindness and great detail. The raspberry lemonade and mushroom coffee (you can’t taste the mushroom!) are great!
Overview
Seventh Square Coffee in West Monroe is a hidden gem that has quickly captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Situated at 414 Wood St Suite B, West Monroe, LA, this cozy diner offers much more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it’s a spot where community and great food come together.
From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re stepping into a friend’s kitchen. It’s clear that the team at Seventh Square Coffee takes pride in their offerings. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just someone looking for a comfy place to unwind, this place is a must-visit.
One of the standout features of Seventh Square Coffee is the wide variety of menu options, making it a perfect spot for both breakfast and lunch. Their coffee, of course, is a major highlight. Locally sourced beans ensure a rich, smooth taste that pairs perfectly with any of their delicious pastries or sandwiches. One of my personal favorites is the caramel latte, which strikes the perfect balance between sweet and robust. If you're more into cold brews, they offer those as well, made with the same care and quality that shines through in every cup.
But let’s talk about the food. The breakfast menu is packed with choices, from fluffy pancakes to savory breakfast burritos. Each dish is made fresh to order, and you can taste the difference. The eggs are perfectly cooked, the bacon is crispy without being overdone, and the hash browns are golden and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. For lunch, the sandwiches are another reason people keep coming back. The turkey club sandwich is a crowd favorite, stacked high with fresh ingredients and served on perfectly toasted bread. You can’t go wrong with the creamy tomato soup to go along with it-it’s comforting, flavorful, and just what you need to get through a chilly afternoon.
The space itself adds to the charm. It’s quaint but spacious enough to hold a lively crowd, with comfortable seating and a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re dining solo, meeting a friend, or bringing the whole family, Seventh Square Coffee provides the perfect ambiance. The casual, laid-back vibe makes it an ideal spot for spending hours chatting over a cup of coffee or grabbing a quick bite on your way to work.
What really sets this place apart, though, is its commitment to quality and customer experience. The owners and staff are always interacting with patrons, ensuring that each visit is special. They’re not just serving coffee; they’re creating an experience. Regulars rave about the consistency and how the team remembers your name and your usual order, which is a rare and appreciated touch.
Another thing to mention is the attention to detail. Whether it’s the way the sandwiches are assembled or the precision with which the coffee is brewed, everything at Seventh Square Coffee is done with care. You’ll notice the little things, like the artful latte designs, or how the sandwiches are served with a side of homemade chips that taste fresh out of the fryer.
For those who need a quick bite on the go, they offer convenient takeout options. If you're in a rush but still want to enjoy quality food, the team at Seventh Square Coffee makes sure your meal is packed up with care, ensuring you don’t miss out on the experience just because you're in a hurry.
If you’re wondering whether the reviews match up to the experience, the answer is an overwhelming yes. Patrons rave about the friendly service, delicious food, and cozy ambiance. The consistent feedback reflects a solid reputation built on a commitment to quality and community. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this diner is worth the stop. The positive reviews speak volumes, and for good reason.
The location, nestled in the heart of West Monroe, is another bonus. It’s easy to find and the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of shopping or exploring the area. If you’re in the neighborhood, it’s hard to beat Seventh Square Coffee for a laid-back, satisfying meal or a great cup of coffee. You can’t go wrong with a visit-whether you’re there for a quick coffee break or a leisurely lunch.

Looking for a light breakfast and chill vibe with friendly service? We found the spot! Try the Honey Almond Toast with a medium roast pour over!
Clean, charming, poignant menu, lovely people. Visit the bathroom just for the wall art. Try a House of Cards (October seasonal). Get an extra shot. YOLO.
Very cute coffee shop! Good for studying but the WiFi was intermittent which knocked it down a star for me. My cappuccino was great, I liked that it wasn't overly sweet and my friends liked their matcha latte and berry smoothies as well.
We were on a road trip and found this gem of a coffee shop! Nick has done an amazing job curating a shop that is authentic and beautiful to enjoy a cup of coffee and a meal. I especially like the collaborative effort with a local book store, as it creates a more meaningful atmosphere for the customer and the community. Yes the coffee is delicious! I almost wish we were locals so I could soak this place up every morning.
The absolute BEST atmosphere, coffee, sweet treats, and staff! The man who rang us up told us all about their seasonal flavors and I definitely recommend the Treat yo self which has mouth watering raspberry notes that complimented the coffee so well. It was not overpowering and overall the perfect sip. We also got some delectable Banana chocolate chip cookies that had the perfect crisp outside but chewy, tender inside complimented with the faintest sea salt flake sprinkled on top. Check them out!
Iced Lavender Latte was absolutely delicious! Also tried the toast and it was pretty good! Cozy place to chill, read or get work done!
First and foremost, the coffee here is amazing! I highly suggest trying the dark matter pour over or their espresso shot with the perfect amount of crema served with sparkling water on the side. Its also a great place to study/work with a whole wall of natural light coming in with many outlets. The food here is incredible. I'm torn between the brisket sandwich and the honey almond butter toast.
